gathered clutch

I have made zippered bags before, but this one caught my eye with the gathered front.  I followed the tutorial quite easily - thank you Skip to My Lou for hosting Anna from Noodlehead for this one!  This is perfect for those few nights out I get with no kids!  (and I need a new camera...)

I think I was curious to see if I could actually sew a zipper on something and have it still work.  It did take a few tries, but I got it.  These pictured are the ones that I lined with fleece so they could be used as a camera or cell phone case.  Getting both the inside and the outside to have hidden seams was tricky, but this tutorial by Skip to My Lou helped.
